Coming into this course my biggest issue was run on sentences.  In class we worked on this a little by referencing the Little Seagull Handbook which was very helpful.  Throughout the course I worked to fix this issue in my writing.  For my significant writing project I made a great effort to steer clear of this error.  For an example, “The success narrative drives the literacy narrative along with the sponsors and smaller narratives that are contained within. Acting as a larger influential factor, the success narrative can be categorized as an overarching influencer” is an area where I used to run into trouble by just connecting all of the ideas in one paragraph.  Additionally, I am know for careless mistakes throughout my papers.  The best solution for this was obviously to proof read on my own, but also to have others proof read for me too (shoutout to my older sister).  For my significant writing project both me and my sister proofread more than once.
